What we collect
- Contact details you provide: name, phone number, email, preferred language and contact channel.
- Health intake information you submit on our intake form (skin history, medications, allergies, contraindications) and signed consent forms.
- Treatment records: services received, dates, notes, and clinical before/after photographs taken with your consent.
- Payment records: amounts, dates, and payment method (we do not store card numbers; online payments are handled entirely on our payment processor's secure systems).
- Booking and website data: appointment requests from our site, and basic product-usage analytics (see Analytics).
How we use it
To schedule and manage your appointments; to provide treatments safely (intake and contraindication screening); to send appointment-related messages (confirmations, reminders, pre/post-treatment care, return reminders, balance notices) by WhatsApp, SMS, or email per your preference; to keep required business and clinical records; and to run the clinic's internal reporting. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their marketing.
SMS / text messaging program (LK Skin Clinic Notifications)
- No mobile-number sharing: mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent are not shared with or sold to any third party for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
- Message frequency varies by your appointment activity (typically a confirmation and one or two reminders per appointment, plus occasional care instructions or balance notices).
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Opt out any time: reply STOP to end messages; reply HELP for help or contact us at info@lkskinclinic.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Consent is optional: agreeing to receive text messages is voluntary and is not a condition of booking, purchasing, or receiving any service.
- Program operator: this messaging program is operated on behalf of LK Skin Clinic by Stix Solutions LLC, the clinic's software and messaging provider.
How we collect SMS consent
- On the booking form (lkskinclinic.com/book, last step): an optional checkbox, unchecked by default, reading — "I'd like to receive appointment reminders and confirmations by SMS/WhatsApp. (Optional — not required to book. Message frequency varies; msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out.)" Ticking it is the opt-in. Leaving it blank does not prevent you from booking, and the request is submitted either way.
- At the clinic, in person: before we add your number we ask, word for word — "Would you like to receive appointment reminders and confirmations from LK Skin Clinic by text message? It is optional and not required for your appointment. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out." Your answer is recorded with its date in your client file.
- What we store: your answer — yes or no — and the moment it was given. Giving us a phone number is never treated as consent on its own.
- Withdrawing: reply STOP to any message, or write to info@lkskinclinic.com. Withdrawal is immediate and does not affect your appointments.
Where your data lives
Records are stored in secured cloud services (database and file storage with encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access, and audit logging). Encrypted backups are kept in separate storage under our control. Access is limited to the clinic owner and staff accounts with restricted permissions (staff cannot view clinical records).
Service providers
We use a small set of vetted service providers to run this service: secure cloud database, file-storage, and hosting providers; encrypted backup storage under our control; messaging delivery services (WhatsApp Business Platform and SMS carrier services); a PCI-compliant payment processor (card data never touches our systems); an email delivery provider; AI processing for the clinic's internal assistant; and product analytics. Each provider receives only the information its function requires, under its own security and confidentiality obligations.
Analytics
We use privacy-conscious product analytics to understand how the service is used and improve it. Session recordings on the management and client portal mask all text and inputs; analytics data is never used for advertising.
Photographs
Clinical before/after photos are taken and stored only with your signed consent, are kept in your private record, and are never published without a separate explicit authorization.
Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, withdraw messaging consent (STOP, or ask us), or withdraw photo consent at any time by contacting info@lkskinclinic.com. We retain clinical records as required by applicable Florida record-keeping obligations.

We will post updates to this page with a new effective date.
