LK Skin Clinic

How we collect SMS consent

This page shows, exactly as the client sees it, how LK Skin Clinic asks for permission to send appointment reminders and confirmations by text message. It is published so anyone — including our carriers — can verify our opt-in without booking an appointment.

1. On our booking form

Clients request an appointment at lkskinclinic.com/book. On the last step of that form, after the name and phone fields, they see this optional checkbox. It is unchecked by default, and ticking it is the opt-in.

Exactly as it appears on the booking form

I'd like to receive appointment reminders and confirmations by SMS/WhatsApp.

(Optional — not required to book. Message frequency varies; msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out.) See our Terms of Service & Privacy Policy.

Leaving the box unticked does not prevent booking — the appointment request is submitted either way. Nothing is pre-selected, and giving us a phone number is never by itself treated as consent to receive text messages.

2. In person at the clinic

When we take a phone number at the clinic rather than online, we ask for permission out loud, word for word, before adding the number:

Would you like to receive appointment reminders and confirmations from LK Skin Clinic by text message? It is optional and not required for your appointment. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out.

The answer — yes or no — is recorded with its date in the client's file. A "no" is recorded just as carefully as a "yes".

What we tell you either way

  • Consent is optional. It is never a condition of booking, purchasing, or receiving any service.
  • Message frequency varies with your appointment activity — typically a confirmation and one or two reminders per appointment.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also write to us at any time.
  • Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in consent are never shared with or sold to any third party for marketing or promotional purposes.
